OHR GAMING | GUILD HISTORY

OHR GAMING NETWORK | IRON CIRCLE PC GAMING BRANCH

Picture
World of Warcraft: 2004-2022

The Iron Circle (TIC) has always been a guild about forming bonds with players from all over the country and the world as a whole. Even today, almost eighteen years later, many of our earliest members, despite many having given up gaming entirely, are still in contact with each other on a regular basis. Our guild is about making friends, playing good games, and of course, when it comes down to it, winning. We have never been a guild focused on being the best, we have always been far more interested in having fun, and we like to think that is the guild culture we have kept all through the years.

  • Iron Circle began its life on the US Argent Dawn Roleplaying server, at its peak, we had over eighty active members, all of whom participated in weekly roleplaying and community events. We also hosted the Ring of Trials dueling event every month for two years.
  • Eventually, TIC moved from exclusive roleplaying and casual gaming to raiding. We moved to the Shadow Council server and began anew. Iron Circle has completed every raid starting from Vanilla WoW to Cataclysm during the times they were relevant and pre-major nerfs.
  • During the Legion and Battle for Azeroth expansions, numerous raids were completed, and have more recently dabbled in Shadowlands in anticipation of Dragonflight.

Archeage: 2014-2015

The Iron Circle (TIC) Archeage branch was one of the first on the ground for the North American launch, and indeed participated in the pre-launch beta to seed its initial members, some of which have moved on to officership in the time since. On the unofficial roleplay server, Tahyang, OHR participated heavily in the land rush, PVP, and was among the first groups to participate in the end-game raiding set in the northern continent.

  • With the Tahyang Western Accord, TIC was a frequent presence on the open seas and in raids to the eastern continent, nightly engaging in skirmishes, piracy, and at times even the most truly heinous act -- politics.
  • Although TIC made a bold showing and were among the first three to five in several areas, all good things must come to an end, and regrettably the Archeage chapter was closed with those of so many other guilds when there became a fundamental philosophical and gameplay mismatch with Trion Worlds. We left with many friends and a deep love for the game play and our time there was instrumental in fueling our recruitment and play efforts both for Black Desert Online.

Black Desert Online: 2016-2017

The Iron Circle (TIC) Black Desert branch focused on providing a guild environment that was friendly toward roleplayers and older gamers who were interested in small scale PVP and community bonds. From the launch of BDO NA until February 2017, the TIC BDO branch engaged in social activities, such as role play campaigns, Node War engagements, and even activities outside of BDO itself, carrying on TIC traditions such as Movie Night.

  • In its time, the TIC BDO branch squared up with some of the game's toughest guilds while the branch itself maintained an often small, yet respectable core of players. At its height, the branch had 50 active members, and multiple active guild wars on a daily basis. Having won, and lost, a few Node War engagements, the TIC BDO branch also stayed active in the PVP "endgame" of BDO for most of its existence.
  • Leaving behind a legacy of players who either engage in or otherwise respect the ideal of roleplay and immersion without sacrificing gameplay or skill, much of the TIC BDO branch leadership and membership remains active or otherwise in contact with the larger TIC meta guild. If we fought your guild, we hope you had fun.

Final Fantasy XIV: 2019-2022

The Red Gambit [RGB] is our Final Fantasy XIV branch of the community. Founded by Simone Almeara, the Free Company started fresh with just a handful of members two years ago and has grown to accommodate an active group of 60 members. With the traditional theme of a mercenary company that operates out of Ul'dah, Red Gambit focuses on creating player-driven RP events that cultivate interpersonal relationships between its members. Oftentimes, this results in resolving some more complicated storylines in tabletop gaming sessions. During downtime, its members enjoy grouping up for Frontline PvP to hone their skills on the battlefield, and completing current raid content.

  • Currently playing and enjoying the Endwalker expansion.
  • Looking for active players who are interested in taking part in savage content.

We want the Ohr Gaming Community to be a place for adults that can enjoy socializing with friends as much as they enjoy playing the games themselves.
